It was posted across the hall but instead of just sitting here in awe, I want to get better by watching what he does.

Particular points of interest include
11:11 dodging the car
0:52 either countersteering or dodging a pothole
3:00 in the chicane...awesome
5:30 truck in hte way is no big deal...I'd slam into it.

I get that part of his speed comes from having been down the road a few hundred times, but what should I be looking at to be more like Mario?

Some are like "what's in the tube?" but I guess I could just watch the damn movie.

But was that road open to traffic? Or because of the cops at the bottom it was closed and those were extras.

The engine noise, was that a waste gate? I wonder what kind of car that was.

I didn't watch the whole thing, but, it's a car unless they have the camera in some sort of rig to keep it horizontal.

I see that his head stays vertical, but I'm surprised at how his upper body stays relatively quiet. Seems he's always in line with the bike. I'd expect something more like a motorcycle racer who is all over the bike.

It's the same car in both I'd imagine. Why use a car for one and a bike for another? And if it were a bike the horizon would tilt as the bike leaned in the corners, which it doesn't in the video, so, it's not a motorcycle.
