    Default FSA-Shimano Bottom Bracket compatibility

    Hi all,

I want to install a FSA crankset that requires an external bottom bracket. (K-Force crankset)

Will a Shimano external bottom bracket work with the FSA crankset or do I need to install a FSA Mega Exo bottom bracket for it to work?

I'm not asking about the quality of one over the other, just the compatibility.

As always, thank you all in advance,

    Steve

    Default fsa bb

i know it will work the other way around. shimano crank with fsa bb. i have not try a fsa crank with shimano bb. i know the axle is the same but i think it has to do with the pre load on the bearings. the shimano need to be pre loaded with the set cap on the shimano crank. there is no pre load on a fsa. it is a 50\50 shot to try it.
