What? You don't like MMA? J/k

The American lamestream sports landscape is more degenerate than it's political races. Just move along. It's in good hands with the BSNYC.

I dislike the fact that American sports media has such disdain for such a demanding sport.

It takes about 3 minutes to go to espn.com and let them know exactly how you feel about this jackass. Like, his ignorant presence is an obstacle in establishing a global ESPN brand.

    Or something.

Michael Smith is just one asshole. It's ESPN's stance that is the problem. American sports media is full of lazy jock sniffers who live on free hot dogs in the press box because ESPN and other powers that be, including the audience, allow it. The precious few actual journalists are like cyclists on the road--outnumbered and endangered by the establishment.

I was there, years ago. I would consider going back, in part because I love hard work. It's much easier to take the Michael Smith route.

    This ^^^^

My first time in a MLB press box was the most exhilarating and repulsive moment in my professional career. I tried and failed to make myself like the culture. Figured studying design was a much less stressful career path for this misanthrope.

When someone in a car gets all aggro on me:

Tell you what: let's trade places. Get on my bike. I'll get in your car. I'll do what you did to me.

See how you feel 'bout that. Usually results in dead quiet.

Poetic justice is forcing Smith to follow you, both on bikes. Route of your choice, preferably uphill.

i think ESPN can longer hide Mikey's substance abuse problem anymore....

Oddly at work today, it was collectively agreed upon that getting hit by a car flipping over end into a barb wire fence. And finishing the race with 30+ sticthes worth of cuts on his legs and ass (imagine the salt seeping into those wounds from his sweat) was tougher feat than Ronnie Lott removing part of his finger to play football. I work with two ex college football players, an ex pro german basketball player and a guy who played highschool football, gig.

This kind of thinking helps to end most all arguments. Good on ya.

Not sure how I feel about trying to put myself in the position of Mike Smith. Hungry, ignorant and sweaty is all I can come up with.

    Bingo.

I never like Smith because I thought he was a Brady/Patriots homer. Now I realize he is just a douchebag.

God forbid I'd have to fit into that corpulent carcass.

I meant a separate scenario: under pain of death you must follow me up the hill. And believe me, you will die one way or another.

    Just another STFU method, s'all.

Best case scenario: He accidentally hits me with his car and I use these statements against him to get a YUUUUUGE settlement.
