Anyone have an idea where I can get these in the black/black colourway? Can't seem to find anything but green.

i thought it was the green stripe that essentially defined the pave?
from the vittoria website:
Proven year after year on the notorious roads of classic races like Paris–Roubaix and the Tour of Flanders, Pavé CG is likely the world’s strongest racing tubular. Instantly recognizable by its traditional green tread, now better than ever with our unique 320 TPI casing, and still, naturally, handmade.
Rugged Cotton Tires tubular holds your speed on the toughest parcours
Grip that never lets go, even on greasy cobbles
Preferred by most competitors in early-season pro races
OPEN equals clincher
How 'bout the Open Corsa Evo CX....all black is available and they are my favorite tires these days...
I guess you have better success than I do. I just killed a pair after two rides. NYC streets. Multi-millimeter length cuts in the rubber, one right through the casing. Brand new and improved said the box. I stopped using them years ago because they got cuts and slices too easily, but I like the feel of the tires so much I thought I'd try them again.
Never had that problem with Paves. They are my wider tire of choice. Conti 4000s' for narrower width.

Same here. I was profoundly disappointed when they cut up and flatted, because I really like the way they ride. I do not like the 700x25 version of the Conti 4000s tires, so I was hoping the Vittorias would work out. Paves are great winter tires though. And the green isn't horrible. Seems season appropriate after watching the spring classics.
Yes, I find them to be so. The 700x25 Conti 4000s' seem sluggish. Like they are over-built. I ride the 700x23's. But the Paves seem just as durable as the 4000s' and they ride really nicely, though somehow they feel heavier in spring/summer than they do in fall/winter so I go back to the Contis then.
Fuck it. Just ordered the green ones. For an orange bike. Meh.

The combination, with some white added, seems to work OK for Ireland:

Meh ???? Green an orange go together like beer and beer. No problem.
Sorry, haven't seen enough beer references since everyone is being so serious lately about their colourways, wheels and PED choices.
I really like the feel of my Open Pave CGs with latex tubes on Hed C2 rims. They measure out at 26.5mm for a sweet ride.
My problem is that I'm liking my Veloflex Roubaixs on Nemesis rims just a hair better so the Hed clinchers have been relegated to standby duty. Maybe I need to work them back into a rotation -- although I'd have to make sure to change out my Arundel Tubi spare bag for my clincher equipped seatpack. That feels like I'd have to think too much when I'm trying to get on the road quickly.
