One can draw a few more limbs down Serotta that have reached near and far as well. Bedford and Kirk comes to mind.
The problem is the New England focus: Beford's Middle Atlantic and Kirk the West, and once they leave New England they drop off the chart. At first glance without intending to, you read this as a family tree of American frame building, but of course that leaves out some highly significant firms (e.g., Waterford) and places (such as Portland).
nothin like "good genes" to start with & pass on..
