    Default 3/4 Zip Jerseys... Annoying.

Is there ANY merit to this design? Anyone else struggle to take these off after a hard ride in the humidity? Wrestling one off just took me about a minute and I never thought to be annoyed by that until now.

I ordered too many as team kit a couple years ago and there are too many in rotation!

Only benefit I can see is that if your zipper breaks, the jersey doesn't simply flap in the wind behind you

I bought a few full zip jerseys and I found them annoying. When I'm bent forward the front develops a "outie" wrinkle making it look like my navel has a hard-on. With 3/4 zips, this isn't a problem. The full zips are easier to put on and take off, but I have to ride bent over for miles and hours, while I only have to put the jersey on and off once.

While I enjoy navel hard-ons, many do not.

The full zip pucker is the main reason I've heard for 3/4 zip.

The jersey with a 3/4 zipper maintains its shape far better than with a full zipper. There is no annoying flapping of the jersey when you are following a teammate. The logos of the sponsors remain visible at all times.

If you jersey is giving you grief when removing it after a hard ride in humid air, try wearing an undershirt. If you try a polypro net, you will not have this problem and the added layer makes it cooler and safer in the case of a wipe-out. George Mount once said to me that he thought the undershirts were an effeminate Euro fad until he tried it and avoided some nasty road rash. Now he feels naked without the undershirt.
