That Pinarello, however, just doesn't look very nice. I don't know what it is....so busy looking and ordinary all at once. Not a fan and I don't mind the look of Pinarellos.

Just change the bartape and cages from white to black, lose the massive logos on the wheels, maybe even murder out the Pinarello logo on the downtube


...and you'd still have an ordinary looking bike, but at least it wouldn't be so freakin' ugly. Er, I mean, busy.

Not out of touch at all. That Koga looks like a bike that many of us would actually buy. I see a pretty smart build with good taste. Selle Italia does need to UPS-red label a black saddle to that rider immediately.

i think it is a time trial frame- probably the only way pippo could get a monocoque bike that had a short enough head tube and a long enough top tube.

The Merida reacto frame has been around for a few years already. It is following the design clues of the tt frame, the merida warp, in a softer way. I wouldn't say it is a ripoff.

Lampre has had some lousy color schemes lately with the Merida being the worst. This is what Lampre bikes should look like. I am not ashamed of this opinion. I would ride this bike. The black and neon yellow color scheme looks like the team was sponsored by Cadel Evan's shoes.

that's a classic Lampre frame kit for sure.
having said that. i would still rock that shite outta that hi-viz Merida. Just for fun's sake.
the colour is popular with the kids right now.

Gotta say though, looking at the list of bike sponsors at the world tour level (inrng : 2013 pro team bikes), there isn't too much I'm that excited to see. The selection for the pro continental teams looks more interesting.

Have to agree about the Pro Continental teams and their bikes: Colnago, Look, Merckx, etc. I think the Look 695 is one of the cooler frames in the peloton right now.
