    I've always liked those reacto. I hope we'll see more BMC time machine road in 2013 too.

    Just change the bartape and cages from white to black, lose the massive logos on the wheels, maybe even murder out the Pinarello logo on the downtube

    ...and you'd still have an ordinary looking bike, but at least it wouldn't be so freakin' ugly. Er, I mean, busy.

    I am hopelessly out of touch. My fave pro bike of the last 5 years remains;

    Those melt-y Pinarellos are either an acquired taste, or...you like 'em or you don't, or...a classic case of Beauty is as Beauty does.

    Egads. Looks like a Cannondale TT bike/Kestrel lovechild.

    What's up with the Lampre sticker?

    Not out of touch at all. That Koga looks like a bike that many of us would actually buy. I see a pretty smart build with good taste. Selle Italia does need to UPS-red label a black saddle to that rider immediately.

    Brutal. Nice BMC ripoff on the seatstay/ST area. I feel a little Orbea Orca in there too. Merida needs to keep their eyes on their own paper.

    Okay, I'm an idiot. Somehow I thought Lampre was still on Willier and I was envisioning Pozzato still riding for Liquigas, just on Merida instead of Cdale. I'm way behind the times.

    i think it is a time trial frame- probably the only way pippo could get a monocoque bike that had a short enough head tube and a long enough top tube.

    You read my mind. My first thought was Orca/Team Machine love child. Nice view, though.

    The Merida reacto frame has been around for a few years already. It is following the design clues of the tt frame, the merida warp, in a softer way. I wouldn't say it is a ripoff.

    Lampre has had some lousy color schemes lately with the Merida being the worst. This is what Lampre bikes should look like. I am not ashamed of this opinion. I would ride this bike. The black and neon yellow color scheme looks like the team was sponsored by Cadel Evan's shoes.

    that's a classic Lampre frame kit for sure.

    Have to agree about the Pro Continental teams and their bikes: Colnago, Look, Merckx, etc. I think the Look 695 is one of the cooler frames in the peloton right now.

    I'm actually looking forward to seeing the Ag2r-La Mondiale Focus bikes w/ Campy and the new Fizik bits. Crazy, I know.

    I showed that merida warp photo to my Peg respo and it is now officially even more smug and self-assured than it already was.

    I agree with vandebergen, the Ag2r- La Mondiale bikes are the best looking of the peloton this year..
