yes it does. it's hypalon. it also has two full length inflatable sponsons that run the length of the waterline. it is a joy to use. ours is a tandem. it breaks down into a long bag 4' x 10", a backpack bag about 3" x 3" x 1', and a round-ish bag about 3' x 2' x 1'. it carries 800lbs. it takes 45min to assemble tight & right. check out the "adventures" & look at the "snow boat" link. that's just like our mark 2. here it is - scroll over the pic to see the wood frame: http://www.longhaulfoldingkayaks.com/boats/mark2.php

Lordy, if you love boats or wood grain or being on the water, you need to click on Mr. Hickman's linky:

I clicked on your flats boat photo and got tears in my eyes. It was like a heavenly vision of my distant, future retirement in South Carolina. The angels sang and it sounded like a loaded fly reel. We need more photos.

    Man! Beautiful work!

When I was a kid I would work the barge for the Tacoma Inboard Racing Association working the flags and clock for the racers. Hydros, flat bottoms, drag boats.....those picts bring back fun memories. Thanks for posting the link.
