Default Your mountain bikes go here:

Went out on the trails for the first time in 3 years this weekend with one of my students. Had a blast. The trails here in Asheville are good enough it should be breaking a law that I don't get out on them more.

Just a part of the collection. Prices are negotiable.

Just a cross-country tool for the New England woods:

    Default A bit of Salsa

My humble ride. Not quite it's current iteration. Now has ENO cranks (can't really tell the difference when riding, but man are they snazzy) and a Marz fork. Enjoyed the precision and "purity" of the rigid but after the Laramie Enduro last year I had neck and arm problems for four months. Seems the bashing aggravated an old bull-riding injury. Lost a bunch of street cred by putting suspension on it, but can now feel my left hand, so I've got that going for me.

that 36'er is freakish looking, it scares me a little like a J.W. Gasey in his clown get-up...Archie's white hardtail is tits though.

Have a few "work in progress' bikes in addition to these that I hope to have finished someday.

Archie those hardtails are hot. What's the deal with the chainstay on the white one--is it an optical illusion or is it bent right before it meets the dropout?

How far are you droping in on the Brooklyn in that pic?

Thanks, that bike is 10 years old. Yep, bent stays. I always did them that way.

That's an alt line on Porc Rim. It's not that much. Maybe 6 or so to the landing? I never measured it.

I'm currently mountain bikeless. This is the closest thing I have right now and it's going to see some action tomorrow after being neglected for years.
