i think there is a big advantage with steel tubbing in the sence that there are manny different butted tubes availible where there isnt som much for titanium.
the road frame i build was made out of columbus and true temper tubes38-31.8-28.6 (dt-tt-st) 62 c/t seat tube and 58 ct top tube with a 20 cm headtube and that came in at 1600 gram, i was really happy with that, bike ride likes a dream but it only comes natural to wonder if it could be improved ?
    thanks, mick
I think you managed to achieve a very good weight. If you were to build it from ti you would probably be able to save another 100g or so.

    The tubes that we use:
    o.d. 16, 18, 22, 29, 30, 32, 35, 38, 40, 45mm
    Conical tube o.d. 25 > 16mm, 50 > 40mm
    Aero tube 50 x 25, 55 x 33mm

Our Custom Road Race 026 weighs 1540g in size L (530x570mm) with a oversized externally and internally butted headtube for conical 1.25" fork and BSA bottom bracket.

it was both funny and a little sad reading some of those comments :)

Anyway, just got back from short winter ride... First time in my lifetime I am experiencing +18C in December. Can't complain really

Pictures here show some pretty clean welds.

Given it's neighbor, IMO supporting Lithuanian businesses is on par with US.

I think his intentions here were quite obvious so let's just wish him luck as I don't think he'll be returning back.

Back to what we all gather here for. Another amazing build by Skunkworks Bikes.

Sweet bike! Can you share some photos of the internal mechanical shift cable routing? Curious how you achieve this?

Thanks! Plenty of room with BB30/PF30 or the new T47 BB. Can you achieve similar with a BSA BB? Only versions I have seen from others exit on DT and use short housing run under the BB. Not as elegant as the above.

If any of you guys plan to visit BESPOKED show in Bristol or SPIN in London, make sure to visit our stand. We'll be presented our brand new road disc model Illuminati. We've designed this 'beast' to be specifically disc equipped and we ensured this is the stiffest frame we've ever built. Some key features include conical 1.5” headtube, PressFit 30 bottom bracket, made in USA flat disc mount combined with DT Swiss thru axle dropouts.

Probably the most extravagant project we've worked on so far. Belt-driven track frame with asymmetrical seatstays. Thoughts?

While I'm not personally a fan of the asymmetrical thing, I LOVE the stealth seatstay break. Awesome execution.
