    Default VSalonistas Pets

Sully (9 months old). Named for the heroic pilot who landed a small plane in the Hudson River in 2009 saving all aboard. After losing two old boys in the same yr. he was some great comfort and is a joy. He sux at cleaning small parts on my bicycles, who said Std. Poodles are smart?

Lexi (shelter name) was brought home from a shelter. She stuck her face up my shirt when we were visiting with her...that pretty much sealed the deal. She licks my nose when I put my face up to hers.

Layla (Mandi loves the name) was born and set to be an outdoor cat. Mandi and I decided that we'd take her home from a friend. Most unique personality I've seen in a pet.

Oxley (Sarbanes-Oxley) was brought home from a shelter. Crazy dog. Bit Mandi. I was ready to kill him. Mandi refused and wouldn't let me near the dog. He recently developed epilepsy. I cried when he had his first seizure. I'd say we have a very dynamic relationship.

Sacha (....yes, he's named after him) was brought home from a shelter. He was laying in the corner shaking, somewhat skinny. Looked very delicate and fast. Can jump like crazy. Very emotional.

Look what I found. MED (Mouse Eating Device) not keeping to her job description and bringing a very unwelcome present.

Mom: He was very sickly until he started riding around on that bicycle.

Dad: Yeah... well... now his body's fine, but his mind is gone.

    I can't believe I waited 30+ years to get a dog.
This is our 10 month old lab/chow mix, Chelsea. I don't know what her name signifies, because she came with it when we adopted her at 4 months. She'd been passed around a bit so changing her name at that stage seemed unnecessary.

Loves the beach, but unfortunately hates the water.
