    Titus

Bought this FCR for wife (Full Custom Racer- though it isn't custom for my wife- it was made for a a guy 5'8" and 160 lbs- my wife is 5'6" and 130 give or take a few) a few months back off of the 'bay. I have to say, I am extremely impressed with the craftsmanship of Titus' frames. Welds are second only to Moots. Better than the welds I've seen on a lot of other Ti makers. I have a Dean Ti coming (it has been over 9 months since the fitting and still waiting!!!!) but I still want another Ti or two and Titus and Seven are on my wish list. I've ridden hers a bit and though it is too small for me, it is an OUTSTANDING ride!!!! It has oval chainstays (like a racetrack pattern) and big beefy seattube and downtube so it is plenty stiff. If I had to choose only one more Ti frame, I would have a tough time choosing between a Titus and Seven.

Anyone else own Titus frames?? I have an '02 Racer X MTB that I will never part with!!!

Thanks 54ny77!! I can't believe no one else here has a Titus! My wife's Titus is feeling a little lonely here. That's OK, I am on the lookout for a Titus for myself so that hers won't feel so lonely.

  4. Nice looking bike. I almost got a Titus a couple of years ago but came across a Merlin Agilis deal that I couldn't pass up.

I've got a sweet Titus MotoLite II if that is any consolation!

  6. Great bike. Sweet welds. I have a Titus Racer-X 29er that was pretty good until my "buddy" crashed it in the rocks....
