    Default Taylor Cross Bike

I'm always a fan of buying local. Paul Taylor is a framebuilder in Gardnerville, NV who has been under the radar for a while. This is the second frame he's built up for me.

Since it's winter I wanted a bike that could be used for commuting as well as the occasional cross race. Here's what we came up with...

Note - Zank should appreciate the Mini-V's

Cool... like the color. Which model v-brakes are those? Did he use straight or s-bend chainstays?

I like it. How much tire clearance does that fork give you? Looks like it might be tight for a cross tire.

    Default Feedback....

    Thanks for the comments.

Paint is standard Candy Apple Red. V-Brakes are Tektro Mini-V's (RX-1). They can be a bit finicky to set up but have much more stopping power then most canti's. I live in the high desert so clearance issues and mud build-up is not much of an issue.

The fork is a bit tight thus running Kool Stop Thin Line pads for clearance. The tires in the picts are 700 x 32c and I could easily get away with 35c but not too much more...

    Fenders will be mounted shortly...
