92d, style points earned if you upload the picture direct here. Imageshack is blocked at most workplaces and this is a gallery ;)

Very nice. I like the no paint logo treatment. Post again when it is built.

Sweet! I like how you utilized the smaller-sized stylized "S" at the top of the seat tube.
It's a complete pleasure working with Tom, Jeff, and Colby.

The color-matched gray pump is a sweet touch!
Another frameset smacked out of the ballpark.

I look at alot of bikes than there is Tom. Good grief that's well done. I've never paid much attention to the pump peg or , hate to admit it, really looked at the rack fasteners. T.K. has been building bespoke rando bikes of this caliber for yrs. He's sorta stealth in that arena.

Outstanding sir we need to hear about your plans to chip the paint and put some miles on that pup. Talk to me.

    Thumbs up

nahbspect, is that built using a 1.00" steel steerer or actually a 1.125" steel steerer?
No difference, simply curious as to the stem setup and if you used a sleeve.
The burgundy pinstripe on the fender is the icing on the cake! :)

Thanks for the comments. I've had the bike for about a year and a half. The details still amaze me! It has been well ridden around Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio. The red is candy apple red, that looks like it is almost 3 dimensionally deep. I'm not sure what the steerer is. Tom had built this for a NAHBS a couple of years ago, and I bought it after that. I'll look when I get home at the steerer tube.

Just wondering if you will have it together by Christmas? Any build-up photos would be nice as well. Have Fun!

On another note, we are in the middle of the build-up stage on two more Brevet bikes. One for Italy and one for New York. One steel, one Ti. I'll try to get a few shots up soon.

Those pictures were taken the day I brought it home. It is nowhere nearly as clean now! However, I'd be happy to stop by the barn to pick up another bike.

Ah, so THIS is where that frame went! I saw this on Tom's website (about 6cm too small for me, unfortunately) and thought it was one of the hottest brevet setups that I'd ever seen. Thanks for sharing it as a built-up bike. It looks every bit as nice as I'd hoped. When you get a sec, can you post a photo or two of the removable front bag rack? I'm curious to see how that all works...

    Default Three Brevets (kind of)

Since TT mentioned that we are kinda' stealthy when it comes to Brevet type stuff, I thought I'd post a few shots of three consecutive bikes that we are in the middle of right now. One is a steel bike going to Italy, the second is a Ti Rohloff bike and the third is another steel going to New York. I only took shots of the front rack from the third one. Our racks are stainless and each one has to be made differently to accommodate different brakes, tires, fenders, and bags. They are all quick release units so that customers can easily take their bag with them when they go into the Kwik-Mart for a Big Gulp. Some of these photos show that we are pretty flexible when it comes to fittings. For example, the first bike wanted to be set up with a really serious rear warning light for traffic. When you are really trying to get a car's attention, you put a big honkin' strobe light on the left side of the bike. It is not a subtle/beautiful way to do it, but boy, it works. All three of these bikes get rack mounted head lights. The first two get one while the third gets two. All are powered by Schmidt front hubs. Feel free to ask questions. We have excuses for everything.
