    Default Peter Mooney

I don't think there is a Mooney thread in the Gallery but moderators please fix if that is the case. This one has been collecting a bit more dust than it should given my dislike for the old bars and the reach was a little off as I've stretched a hair over the last four years (on purpose and not much). Went back to my favorite bars from high school (Mod 64) and WStekl hooked me up with the appropriate stem out of his cache. Pics are awful iphone but bottom line is this is a great bike and we don't see many here. 1996 vintage. (no bitching about the mis-matched big ring unless you send me a 52t for starfish or the tilt of the bars - I like 'em like that)

    Nice.

This one caught my eye a few years back:

The purple pothole eater! I'll bet that Mooney is just the correct machine for the Valley "cobbles". The stem looks perfect.

    Cheers,

I just picked up my lovely Peter Mooney fork for my 1997 Rhygin Metax. It's absolutely stunning. The Rasta theme is very subtle. I chose a Henry James fork crown as the frame has Henry James drop-outs. Can't wait to ride it!

Beautiful Mooney. I really like Peter's work.

That Mavic headset is beautiful too. Had one on a Stowe about a decade ago.
