So here is my offical Gallery post...

This bike is Litespeeds newest Ti bike, handmade in their Tennesee shop. I have it built up with the following:
Tapered, shaped, oversized 3/2.5 v titanium tubes
Campy Chorus 11sp full group
3T Ergonova bars
Forzza full carbon seatpost
S3 headset/Bontrager Stem (stem could change with fitting)
Shimano 105 pedals (I know, but I like Shimano pedals)
Handbuilt DT Swiss wheels with DT240s hubs and RR 1.1 rims with either Diamonte Pro or Pro2 Race tires depending on how I feel...

Currently has a demo Antares saddle, I like it so far but it was only a 10 mile test ride last night before it got dark...

Bike at it sits here is exactly 17 lbs.

Nice bike, I miss my Ti bike. Does that fork have a carbon steer tube? If so you might wanna rethink all those spacers.

It is an aluminum steerer... I do plan on working on the number of spacers though...

I'm really digging this bike so far and the new fit as well...

This bike is so smooth on the rougher roads and really climbs very nice. I can only compare this to the scandnium bikes I've ridden, but I'm really liking Ti...

BTW- the Fizik Antares saddle might actually get me off my Brooks Swift....

Don't sweat the pedals. I use the same ones with the same group on my Speedvagen - I can't see the need for nice pedals and these ones work great!

The fork is a "Xicon Composite" fork that is full carbon legs with an aluminum steerer, not sure who manufacturers it for Litespeed...

It is not custom geo, this is the medium size (54cm tt)... Geo info here:

I actually got a sweet deal on a like new set of Dura Ace 7810 pedals that should get to me today...

Thanks. It's 49.5 seat tube and a 54.5 level top tube, if I remember correctly. I think the head and seat angles are both 73 degrees.

So, I've had the chance to put a few miles on my Xicon now (around 150) and I can safely say that Litespeed did a great job designing this bike from my narrow view. I got out for 46 miles to day which included some really fast, twisty downhills (top speed was around 41mph, I got scared...) and the bike tracked just beautifully around the tight turns and sweepers... I had complete confidence in the bike, I just got a little scared of my abilities on a couple of the decreasing radius turns... The pavement wasn't the smoothest and the frame just ate up the bumps with no worries...

While I've not had a custom or even a carbon bike, this is the best bike I've owned and I think it will be around for a while...

Huh. I didn't know there was a Litespeed thread here. I can play too.

Mine's old school, a 1996 Classic. I bought the frameset from a guy in my club who had to switch to recumbents.


As purchased. That's the Time carbon/vectran fork, BTW.

I swiped all the components from another one of my bikes for the initial build. Mostly 9-speed Ultegra with a Dura-Ace RD. I've since de-stickered the wheels.


At work, it has its own corner of the server room, and a ferocious guard snake.


Locked outside the restaurant at a lunch stop a couple of weeks ago.
