This was Greg's personal bike, designed by Tom Kellogg and built by Merlin.

Wow I thought Greg Lemond was in the customer section of the Spectrum site by mistake. (to my credit, he is riding a carbon Lemond in the photos)
Well i finally got my Titanium Lemond built up....
Fits me perfectly - i never knew Titanium could be so buttery smooth - this will be with me for ever!

This was a bike that, by everything I could gather, was ridden in the '91 or '92 Paris-Nice. Here's a link to a posting by Tom Kellogg about these bikes.

And here's a link to the rest of the pics of it:

Here's a link to him on this bike by Graham Watson:

I can't figure out if he rode it in the '91 or the '92 season. There are pics of the rest of the squad on these bikes in the '91 Paris-Nice, but Graham Watson's pic is from '92. The specs on the bike raced a just a little bit different... no drop-in bars, for example, but I'm assuming that they would swap out components back and forth on these frames. There's another guy with a "sister" bike on there, but it also has slightly different details from what's in the pics. These two are the only two made specifically for Greg. Mine has his name painted on it and this guy's has a sticker with his name printed.

Very cool, but that picture is one of Greg's old bikes, not the only one that he ever owned.
Who would've thought that?
I always had my eye on a poprad; they were ahead of their time for disc cross bikes and made for awesome all-weather commuters:

This is a Lemond I owned a couple years ago. Got it from Mschol here on the forum. Super geo. Super riding bike. Just not particularly stiff. But there was nothing else wrong with it. It was replaced by my Look 585.
But this is a helluva bike. Sent if off to California after I was done with it.

Here's my 1997 Buenos Aires frame. It was hanging up in my garage for about ten years with paint peeled from the head tube and top tube. I sent it off to Spectrum Powderworks just after the new year for a re-paint. Originally it was red, but I decided try a different look. I hope to have it re-built by the summer.
Very elegant. Well done.

Just picked up a 2000 Lemond. Not stock, but it looks and rides great, I'm super happy with it. BTW, the Michelin Pro4 25mm tires are amazing.
