I have an On Two Wheels jersey like that!
Is it still owned by those two guys, Bill and Chris? Are you friends? I've spent countless hours in their shop.

    Small world.

    I'm Chris's son. I worked there for 7 years.

It's a great pre-Labor day 4-5 day ride. The flags were mandatory every year (we always cut them down way to short), but no more mandatory flags any more...just an option.

    Blonde hair, right?

It's kind of presumptuous to think you'd remember me, but I bet you might. I lived in Hillsdale but went to LC. Paul is my name. I've got a profile pic up. I was in there all the time. I think you corrected my pronunciation of "vitus," once. you had one in the shop with no decals for a while.

Anyway, say thanks to your pops for me. He was always gracious with his time. Once he stayed open late after my dad surprised me with my first road bike (casati) but we didn't have a presta pump.

It's funny, i think my on two wheels jersey is the 2nd oldest bike thing I have, next to the brikos.

ps-i manage a shop here in chicago now. funny, huh?

Paul.....It took a look at your pic but I do remember you. Great to here your still involved in cycling. Chris is the sole owner of the store now. Bill moved but we all keep in close touch. I'm working at Mayo in Minnesota now. Nursing in an ER is'nt as relaxing as the bike shop was!

    Cheers,

    Adam
