a little retrofit love from the Bilenky Boys

Wow.....couldn't find a beater to travel with? That's a pretty sweet ride to be hacking up (even though I know those guys do great work).
that is the beater
but seriously - a dent in the dt made it a good candidate and the couplers will add some versatility. On e-richie's short list for a new one also.

That is almost as painful to look at as a live circumcision......
Hey, when you posted that on the Serotta forums, I asked you if it was available and you said you sent it to Bilenky. Very nice to see it progress.
Where in at Atlanta are you? I was in Cumming (that's what she said) last weekend and it was pretty nice up that way. Thinking about moving the family there.
That is rad...I just put down the deposit today to have them do the same thing with my Vanilla.
SIKE! I'm actually sending them a used legend Ti to hack up. Not cheap but should be a wicked travel rig all said and done. Gotta like the work from them bilenky boys.
That frame was beat maaaaaan, I def. saw some paint chips...good call ;)
Seriously, good call. It's a bike for gosh sakes NOT a museum piece.
curious as to the cost, if not being to personal.

$495 for Steel
$850 for Ti
They also have package deals on the cases and accessories.
I'm on the south side, very near the airport. The Cumming area is pretty nice with some good riding. I'm a native Atlantan and still think of that area as 'country' but it's really a bedroom community now. If I were moving OTP (outside the Perimeter), I'd definitely pick the north side of town or beyond.

e-richie was an early proponent of couplers. My first sight of them, Interbike show 1993, the bikes in their (S&S's) booth were a Sachs and a Waterford.
Nice. Are you going to be building it up right away?
p.s. New fork or just new steerer?
GO!
