Like driving a car with a V8. Once it's up to speed it just wants to stay there regardless of the terrain.

Looks like your focus might be longboards based on the blanks. Where are you located? Who do you shape for or do you have your own label?

I've been surfing since my mid-teens and haven't stopped yet...although my shoulder hasn't been very happy about it lately :frown: I have one LB in my quiver, but I ride a fish or regular short board most of the time.

That looks awesome. I am dying in anticipation of getting my MXL back from paint. I've got my build kit all rounded up and I'm ready to get it on the road! I've got those same Vittoria Pave's going on mine too.

Nice Merckx. BTW, I like the solution they used for the cable routing. You get the benefits of cable mounting at the head tube, but you could also use DT shifters if you wanted.
