Very nice. I'm beginning to like champagne/beige colored bikes more and more. looks like a sport touring type design?

yeah. sport touring.
shimano 47/57mm brakes, 73* parallel.
fenders and rear rack shall be fitted soon. perhaps a slight trim of the steertube.
today was the first day riding and it's pretty damn nice. i'd like a larger tire on it too...when the current ones get a little more worn perhaps.

Long live horizontal top tubes and stems. A buddy I ride with has one exactly like yours from the 80's as well as a Ti version. His probably has 80K miles on it. Classic style never goes out of style.
