    Default Crisp Titanium

Hello there. My name's Nicola and I'm from Italy. Here's my little story about a guy who many of you probably already know.....but first let's get back to september 13, 2011.....sold my Merlin Cr Works (wrong size) immediately write an e mail to my friend Darren Crisp "Darren you've a new customer".
Yesterday Darren sent me these pictures and I'm sooo glad to show them to all of us.End of the story. Please give a very warm welcome to my custom road titanium...made in Italy by a Texan.
This bike will be equipped with (once completed more pictures will follow)

    campy super11 revolution titanium groupset
falz fork by the Master Dario Pegoretti
    chris king headset
    king cage titanium bottle cages
look keo blade ti 12nm pedals
fulcrum racing speed dark label wheelset and vittoria tubulars
    enve seatpost, stem and handlebars.

    Thanks a lot

    Howdy Nicola
That is one BADASS bike you have there. And it really is the beginning of the story. Congratulations on a fantastic looking bike. You will need a little bit of orange, maybe the bar tape, on the bike. Yes, orange is the color of the University of Texas Longhorns football team in Austin. The Fizik orange will be good.

As they say in Texas "Hook em Horns"

    Nicola,

what a nice frame. To whom does the "young, wild and free" refer to? I do not know you very well, but if you are the middle aged, married tax advisor from Rome I met at this year's Pegoraduno it can only be meant ironically ;-).

Infact dear Martin...totally ironic....is all that i want to be...and that i'm not!!! Most important thing is that Mr Darren Crisp is one of the best framebuilder of the world in my very modest opinion!

I know, IMHO he is one of the best, and what I like the most is, that he comes from an industry job (I think I have read something about elevators), so he puts his large-scale work to small scale such as a bicycle, just very few people can do that.

Will we meet him at Pegoraduno 2013? Maybe it is better not to meet him, otherwise I would most probably order a frame - you know.

I hope that for 2013 pegoraduno he can come....unfortunately in 2012 it was very busy to come and see us...he's also a good cyclist!

Hey, what's wrong with middle aged and married? I wouldn't trade either one for any of my obvious alternatives.

Plus the frame looks cool, so the heck with irony.

I think a black fork would be better, but still looks very good. Well done.
