This image, I think, has made the rounds over the internet, but I've got it as my computer wallpaper because I find it inspiring. Is it passion or craziness? It's probably a little bit of both, but I figure if that guy can ride in those conditions, then I can drag myself out of bed when it's cold and dark and get out on the road and bang out a few miles too.

But I always wear my helmet.

i was trying to find pictures of max sciandri... i'd sat on him on pch a few times and seeing him up close.. turning the 53x12 like it was nothing.. was mesmerizing and scary like riding behind a race horse is scary. but i ended up on a picture of Ullrich.. who for me, was the ultimate power rider.
