    Default Looking for cable guides

I'm looking for the cast brake hose saddles that take the zip tie.
HYDRO BRAKE CABLE GUIDE/ ZIP :: SMALL PARTS :: BRAZONS-SMALL PARTS :: Nova Cycles Supply Inc.
Nova is out, and I don't know who else has them. I don't like the alternatives from Pacenti or Paragon.
If anyone has a bunch and can part with 10 or 20 I'd greatly appreciate it. Alternately, if someone could point me to another source that would be just as good.

    Art 200 from Ceeway Brazeons
I don't know what the exchange is like for you, but worth a shot if you hadn't checked there already?

Ceeway is pretty much off my radar due to the overseas and exchange thing. I'd hate to think what it would cost to ship some braze ons from the UK, but maybe it's an excuse to go ahead and build myself that Max tubed road bike.

Just as a point of interest- Peter (at Ceeway) has a small padded envelope rate at something like $10- perfect for something like braze ons to keep the machine rolling.

I shot him an email, this might finally get me on the Ceeway customer bandwagon.

    Eric,
I have at least 8, maybe more. I am not at the shop, but will check in the morning.

    Eric,

I clicked on the link you provided just to be sure that I was offering exactly what you wanted and Nova lists over 3000 units available. Is there web site not up to date?

Holy crap, it said out of stock yesterday. I guess they got more in, right after I ordered some from Ceeway. This was all probably part of some cosmic plan to get me off my butt and get hooked up with Ceeway. It all ended well, thanks everyone:)

Haha, I just ordered 50 of them from Ceeway. Plus a crap ton of stuff from your people at Design Engineering. I'm gonna start keeping minimum stock levels, or something smart sounding like that.

Don't go overboard with that- sometimes $10 shipping is better then $600 in braze ons sitting on the shelf.

Oh no, not that many. More like $60 in braze ons. It'll keep me going into next year at least, and not take up too much space.

LOL. Oh yes, I have done that before. I still have braze-ons where I am like WTF was I thinking?

can you picture $600.00 worth of braze-ons at their prices? I love the H2O ones, they have a nice thick lip for greater contact area, the split stops are A+, I use tons of the "O's", and the "hourglass" rack mounts are juuuussst right. Plus, made in the USA by people who awnser the phone! - Garro.

Yeah, they have some h2o bosses with the smaller lip but I opted for the bigger ones. Got 150, I had to make a couple on the lathe to finish this last frame. That was bunk. I think my days of ordering exactly what I need for one frame at a time are over. I've been buying straight gauge in some quantity, and buying 5 ft of head tube from Henry James was a great decision. I think it's gonna be 10 bb shells at a time now. Maybe even seat tubes, cause I've used the same one on just about everything.
Good to know about the rack mounts, I got some of those. What do you use the O's for, do you do a lot of full housing setups?

If you are ordering ahead, tell them not to back order if they are short a few, otherwise they go out and make them for you and ship later. I don't think I would have space in my braze on drawer if I ordered $600 worth and the shelf would collapse.

Um, why don't you just make some? If I had a dollar for every cable guide/stop/rackmount/h20 boss/brakeboss/ etc I made myself I would take the 100 bucks and buy the damn things. Why don't you like the paragons, just askin?
